When four of Santa’s elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where…

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and hidden the rum. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, ‘Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn’t this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?’

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Curiously enough, the “Where to Buy” page on Apples store for the new iPhone 3G does not have a link to Telstra, only Optus and Vodafone.

I must admit, I’m really suprised by this, I was expecting Telstra to pick up the iPhone, I guess negotions didn’t go Telstra’s way…

It’s a shame really, Telstra has by far and away the best 3G coverage of any provider, so it remains to be seen if Telstra will add it’s own link to the Apple store:

I was just talking to a friend the other day who promptly told me that now is not the time to buy property. I was somewhat perplexed by this because when the market is depressed it’s the time to invest. I thought to myself that this was something a stock broker would say about property. Well blow me down my friend confirmed it; his friend was a broker.

So the question begs asking… why ask for investment advice from a stock broker about investing in property? To me it’s like asking a Mac user what video editing software they should buy for their PC, the Mac user would say “Get A Mac!”.

Stock and property are like Apples and Oranges, you just can’t compare the two, they are both round and taste nice… and thats about it.

Getting property investment advice from a stock broker is like asking a mufti to suggest a church to get your kid christened…

Cool joke I got the other day via email:

A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten.

We all looked at each other and another customer asked, ‘What is a seven-hundred-ten?’ She replied, ‘You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one..’

She replied that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there. The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like.

She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked ‘is there a 710 on this car?’ She pointed and said, ‘Of course, its right there.’
